The Bryn van Vliet Quartet

Bryn van Vliet is a Wellington based Multi-instrumentalist, Composer & Educator. Bryn’s musical passions include experimenting and exploring in the styles of; Jazz, Big Band Jazz, Folk, Singer Songwriter, Brazilian, Funk, Pop and Contemporary.

If you live in Wellington you’ll be sure to catch him around town playing one or more of these styles regularly, on various instruments. Through these passions, Bryn has toured NZ relentlessly over the past decade, and overseas a handful of times with TOI & The Rodger Fox Big Band.

This project is the culmination of years of performing original Jazz compositions with his quartet around Wellington. The title track is composed about wandering the streets of the Wellington waterfront in the stillness of the night.
